Escape weekenders are ideal for dance enthusiasts to immerse themselves in dance. Our events are enjoyable, inclusive, and cater to various dance styles and skill levels – even for complete beginners!
Our event at the Norbreck Castle in Blackpool is particularly memorable. Featuring multiple dance areas, including the beautiful Norcalympia Suite, this weekend aims to be among our most exciting and diverse yet.
Special Guest Stars Mark & Olga Elsbury
Mark & Olga have danced together since their youth, accumulating National Championships at every grade, totalling over 20 National Championships titles together. Mark is also chairman of the Associated Board of Dance, and they are especially well known for the American Smooth.
They have also travelled the world competing while representing Great Britain and have become Professional World Championship and Champions at numerous international events, including: Singapore Open, Chinese Taipei Open, Bali International, Spanish Open, Canada Grand Ball, Poland Open Cup, Nordic Open, Welsh Open and winners of the World Gold Cup. During their career, Mark and Olga have also performed live for Queen Camilla.
They’ll be teaching 3 inspiring classes for all, and performing 2 stunning show dances at our Saturday night cabaret. Mark is one of the few DVIDA American Smooth Professional qualified teachers in the UK. Mark & Olga are bringing the magic, the moves, and the wow to your Ceroc weekend!
A Full Range of Dance Styles – Something for Everyone
Over 1,000 dancers from across the UK join us for this incredible weekend — and it’s easy to see why. With a vibrant social atmosphere, workshops for all levels, and freestyles running until 4am, it’s the perfect combination of learning, connection and fun.
Our dance styles span a wide variety, including Modern Jive, Latin and Ballroom, Blues, Tango, Swing, Rock and Roll, Bachata, Zouk and more.
For Ballroom Enthusiasts
We’re delighted to welcome Mark & Olga Elsbury as special guests. They have won over 20 National Ballroom and Latin Championships and represented Team GB internationally.
Over the weekend, they’ll be teaching three exclusive classes covering Ballroom, Latin and their speciality, American Smooth. They will also perform two showcase routines during the Saturday night cabaret.
Bringing a Group?
If you’re part of a group that loves to dance, we offer a great incentive:
Two free full-weekend tickets when you bring five or more paying guests (day passes only).
20% commission on the total revenue your group generates
For example, if you bring 20 full-paying people for the weekend, you’ll receive two free tickets and £400 as a thank-you. We simply ask that your group maintains a gender balance within 20% (no commission available on accommodation packages).
Accommodation at The Grand
We have rooms available at the Grand Hotel, just two miles from Norbreck Castle. Packages start from £199 per person and include accommodation and full access to the entire weekend of dancing and entertainment.

Saturday only (including cabaret and competition): £65 – access from 10am to 4am
Sunday only: £40 – access from 10am to 4am

What is is on offer?
- Over 40 lessons and masterclasses in a delicious smorgasbord of different dance styles, including:
- Ballroom & Latin classes with Mark & Olga
- Parter dance fundamentals, such as footwork, whips, scrolls, aerials, drops and competition styling.
- Blues
- Rock n Roll
- Latin Room, playing a mix of Salsa, Zouk and Bachata
- Ceroc modern jive
- SILC smooth jive
- Beginners – an intro to partner dance connection and technique
- World class DJs playing different genres over 4 rooms until the early hours of the morning.
- Food, drink and leisure facilities including indoor cinema, plus Gym and Pool at Spindles Spa.
- Dance shoe trade stand and wellbeing/massage.
