The Scottish Champs will be held at George Watson’s College, 69 Colinton Road, Edinburgh, EH10 5EG.
Visitor access is via the Senior School entrance on Colinton Road. Parking is available on site, and there is also free on-street parking on South Ettrick Road. The college is well served by local bus routes, so it is also easy to reach by public transport.

Travelling by Car
From the South, take the M6, A74M, M74 or the A1 and then follow the Edinburgh City Bypass.
From the North, take the M90 South and then follow the Edinburgh City Bypass after you take the Queensferry Crossing over the River Forth.
If you are travelling by car, use the postcode EH10 5EG for sat nav.

Parking availability may vary depending on the event, so we recommend allowing extra time on arrival. The school has noted that access for visitors is via the Senior School entrance on Colinton Road.
Travelling by Bus/Cab
George Watson’s College is well served by Edinburgh bus routes. From the city centre the journey times are typically around 25-30 minutes.
Buses that pass near the school include 11, 15, 16 & 10 from Princes Street.
Bus 45 from Leith Street (Stop JB) brings you right to the college.
From the city centre a cab will cost (on average) between £15 and £20 and will take approximately 15 minutes.
Travelling by Tram/Rail
Edinburgh Trams do not stop directly at the school. The tram network runs between Edinburgh Airport, the city centre and Leith/Newhaven, so if you are arriving by tram you will need to change to a bus in the city centre.
For visitors arriving by rail, stations are Edinburgh Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley.

Travelling by Air
Edinburgh airport is the closest airport to the event. On arrival you can take a Tram or a 100 Bus to the city centre. These are well signposted at the airport.

PARKING and WHERE TO STAY
Parking is plentiful at the College’s car park facilities.
Where to stay?
There are many B&Bs, hotels (both large chains and small family establishments) and airbnbs in the area surrounding the venue.
There are Travelodges at Cameron Toll (30 mins away on public transport), Dreghorn Link (12 minute drive) and at Ratho Station (Edinburgh Airport).
Morningside is close by and has many restaurants, cafés, supermarkets shops etc where you can purchase food and supplies for the day. The college has no catering facilities.
