Single and/or Sharing

A recent survey showed that 81% of the people that go to Ceroc in the UK come on their own. We therefore expect that there will be a lot of people that want to book on their own. We are therefore offering single and sharing options, whereby you can book into an apartment by yourself in a Budget apartment and we will match you up with someone else of the same sex in a 1 bedroom apartment. Please note if you don’t want to fight over who gets the bedroom and who gets the day-bed, we also offer a Single and Sharing option for two same sex strangers in a two bedroom apartment. We will not be able to exchange details of who is sharing with who before or at the event (data protection law).

Who gets the bed and who gets the sofa bed in the living room? This will be for the two of you to fight it out, but in reality we suspect it will be whoever gets to the room first will decide. Keys will be available for both of you.

Complete Beginners

Even if you have never set foot in a Ceroc venue in your life, this is the place for you to learn how to dance. In addition to the many advanced workshops this weekend, Ceroc has not forgotten its roots and we will be hosting workshops specifically designed for Beginners. These workshops will be intense, fast-track, progressive, dynamic and totally rewarding.  Check the programme for timings, but we try and offer at least 5 beginners sessions, each of which will last for 1-hour.  In each session you will learn 4 Beginners moves and then have time to practice what you have learnt.  There are a total of 12 Beginners moves and therefore by the end of the weekend you will have been taught, and been able to practice all of them.

Intermediate Dancers

There are a wide range of workshops that will be perfectly suitable for the intermediate dancer. All the style workshops will certainly help to smooth off any rough edges you may have. The dips, lean and seducers workshops will add some ‘va va vroom’ to your repertoire. Our Dance Adventure workshops cover specialist subjects enabling you to truly broaden and develop your style. And remember, all the hours of concentrated freestyle practice time will help transform your dancing.

Advanced Dancers

At this event there will be some really demanding and creative workshops that will appeal to the most advanced dancers.

For over 10 years Ceroc have been hosting ground-breaking, diverse and challenging workshops at our weekenders. The Escape ethos is to ensure that we provide something for everyone; from beginner to professional.

You can expect over 30 workshops across multiple rooms offering a varied selection of dance styles, techniques and specialisms. The workshops start in the Thunderball room on Friday night. On Saturday and Sunday the workshops will run from 10.30am until 7pm or later. No need to book simply stroll up and join in. (except for the Masterclasses and any other very specialist classes as detailed in the programme).

There will be a vast array of workshops that will enable you to build on what you have learnt at your regular Ceroc classes if you prefer to stick with what you know.

Our weekenders are all about participation, and therefore check-out the programme to see if we are offering any activities where you could 'dive right in'. For example, 'Sack the DJ', Performance class etc

During the course of the weekend there will be a number of Masterclasses on offer. These classes are for those who want to get to grips with a particular style in a smaller, more interactive group. A maximum of 30 people can be accepted on these workshops and are for fixed partners only. A charge of £5 per head is in place for Masterclasses and you can prebook your place when they are released at the top of this page. Limited spaces will be available to pay for at the Weather Desk at the event. The Weather Desk opens to accept bookings from 3pm on Friday.

Apart from perhaps Brexit, very little separates people more than music. Over the last 10 years, we have therefore learnt a thing or two about what you like and when you want it! We have therefore developed a wide circle of some truly great DJs.

The evenings will consist of multiple rooms playing a variety of music to cover all tastes.

The Thunderball room is always the busiest venue and where you will find the popular Ceroc classics and uptempo sounds. This room will normally be open until about 3.30am.

The Cyclone is home to a plethora of different musical styles, so simply consult the programme to find your favourite slots and DJs.

The 'Boudoir', referred by some as the pub, is the epicentre of the weekend for so many. The Boudoir will be filled with daytime and evening freestyle opportunities including 'Swingers hour', Sack the DJ, SILC and S'funk.

We believe we assemble the most outstanding DJs on the circuit, and we strive to put the right music in the right venues at the right times. Nevertheless, we do occasionally get i wrong, and therefore we always welcome your feedback (feedback form in your booklet), to help us shape our future events.
